BBEC is pleased to announce that we have launched our Duke of Edinburgh programme for Year 9. This is a fabulous opportunity, free of charge to all students and arriving just in time for spring and summer.

DofE will see students gain achievements in areas of Physical Activity, Volunteering and Skills. Students then progress to the two-day expedition, which includes an overnight camping experience in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

 

DofE has so many benefits, amongst all the achievement of the award demonstrates great resilience and provides opportunities to make new friendships, develop new interests and skills and make valuable contributions to our BBEC community. DofE Awards are also recognised qualifications, with the highest level of Award, the Gold Award being given to students at Buckingham Palace or Holyrood Palace.
